The Reece Bathroom Innovation Award is once again open for submissions and with the competition now in its 10th year, we’re looking forward to seeing some of the best and brightest ideas yet.

Not quite ready to get your innovative product in for review? Don’t panic, there’s still time as submissions are open until 1st June 2015.

How do I get started?
Have a good read of this year’s brief and make sure to follow the BIA on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook to keep up to date and get insider tips and information.

What’s up for grabs?
This year’s prize offering is bigger and better than ever. Our professional winner will not only receive $10,000 cash for their innovative entry, but also the chance to have their entry prototyped by one Nobili, a world-renowned bathroom brand and one of Reece’s suppliers. For our students, the $5,000 cash prizewill be awarded along with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a 2-week internship in Barcelona with world-leading bathroom design brand Roca. Olé!

Where can the BIA take you?
There’s a world of opportunity awaiting a BIA winner – last year’s professional winner, Michael Hoppe, was involved in a BIA first when his winning design Cylinder was prototyped by Australian manufacturing company Omvivo, while Queena Le, our 2014 student winner, experienced a valuable career kick-starter after an unforgettable fortnight in Spain at Roca’s headquarters.

Both winners have now added their award-winning design to their portfolio and have boosted their personal brand after not only being featured by Reece across their many communication channels, but also appearing in national publications.

You’ll also have the chance to have your work reviewed by our judging panel, which this year is made up of some of the brightest design minds from Australia and around the world, including Roberto Palomba (global architect and designer), Josep Congost (Design Director of Roca Design Center & Innovation Lab) and Shaynna Blaze (interior designer and media personality).

With coveted prizes and industry recognition almost too good to be true, it’s time to reach for the stars. Download this year’s brief, have a read of the FAQs and get those creative juices flowing.

Good luck!
